Measure the width of your bookcase face as well as the height, leaving any height on the leg of the leg. Divide the width of two if you want 3 panel sliding closet doors, or leave width that is to make a single door. Measure and cut a support card for each door, equal to the door width minus 6 inches. Lay the two width boards on a flat surface that runs parallel. Place height boards between width boards to form a rectangular frame. Make the corners flush.

Drill an ½ inch screw at an angle to secure the frame to each joint where 3 panel sliding closet doors meet. Repeat steps 3 to 4 to make a second door. Sand frame (s) and paint or bets as desired to match your room’s décor. Set the frame (s) aside to dry for 2-4 hours. Measure and cut a piece of plywood to the length and width of each frame. Cut a sheet of cloth or wallpaper equal to the size of the plywood. Spray the back of fabric or paper with glue and even out fabric or paper across the surface of the plywood.
